The Venue of the Congress is the Polytechnic of Turin

The venue of the Congress is Politecnico di Torino, one of Europe’s leading technical universities and a symbol of excellence in engineering, architecture, and applied sciences.

Founded in 1859 as the School for Engineers and later becoming the Regio Politecnico di Torino in 1906, Politecnico di Torino was Italy’s first engineering school. For over 160 years, it has educated engineers, architects, designers, and urban planners according to rigorous academic standards and a strong commitment to innovation, integrity, and research excellence.

Today, Politecnico di Torino is consistently ranked among the top technical universities in Europe, with approximately 38,700 students and a faculty of more than 1,000 professors and researchers.

Castello del Valentino

The Congress will take place at Castello del Valentino, a historic Savoy residence located along the banks of the Po River in Turin.

Built mainly in the 17th century, the castle is renowned for its elegant French-inspired architecture, distinctive corner towers, refined interiors, and formal gardens. Castello del Valentino is part of the Politecnico di Torino campus and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, admired for its historical, architectural, and cultural value.

Welcome Dinner & City Celebration

June 24, 2026

The Welcome Dinner will be held in the courtyard of Castello del Valentino, formerly the main headquarters of Politecnico di Torino.

Following the dinner, participants are invited to enjoy the San Giovanni fireworks, part of Turin’s annual city celebration in honor of its patron saint.

Registration & Opening Session

The registration desk and the opening session of the Congress will take place in the Salone d’Onore, the prestigious ceremonial hall of Castello del Valentino.

The Congress sessions on June 25 and 26 will be hosted in 7 conference rooms with a total seating capacity of 1,250 participants.
All rooms are conveniently connected through the central courtyard, ensuring smooth movement between sessions.
