Direct to Torino Airport (TRN – Torino Caselle)
- TRN is the closest airport (about 25–30 minutes from the city center).

Milan Linate (LIN) – ~1h45 to Torino
- Convenient for European flights.
- Metro/bus to Milan → high-speed train to Torino.
Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) – 2h30 to Torino
- Major low-cost hub (Ryanair).
- Bus to Milan → fast train to Torino.
Geneva (GVA) – 3h30 by train
- Good option for travelers from North America using Star Alliance.
- Scenic train route through the Alps.
🚄 2. Reaching Torino by Train
Italy’s high-speed rail system is reliable and fast.
Torino has two main stations:
- Torino Porta Nuova (primary)
- Torino Porta Susa (modern, central for high-speed lines)
From major cities:
- Milan → Torino: 45 min–1 hr (Frecciarossa or Italo)
- Rome → Torino: 4–4.5 hrs (nonstop high-speed trains)
- Florence → Torino: 2.5–3 hrs
- Venice → Torino: 3.5 hrs (one change in Milan)
From France (Paris):
- Paris → Torino: ~5 hrs
(SNCF TGV or Trenitalia Frecciarossa; very comfortable route via the Alps)
🚗 3. Travel by Car
If renting a car, Torino is well connected by highway:
- From Milan: A4 motorway (~1h30)
- From Geneva/France: Mont Blanc Tunnel or Fréjus Tunnel (tolls apply)
- Parking in central Torino is limited; many choose hotels with private parking.
🚌 4. Local Transportation while in Torino
- Airport → City: Train (15–20 min), bus (45 min), or taxi (~€35–40)
- City Transport: Trams and buses; walking is easy in central Torino
- Metro: One line (very convenient between Porta Susa → city center)

Given summer demand, the best combination of convenience and price is typically:
- Fly to Milan Malpensa (MXP)
- Take a direct bus or fast train to Torino
- Stay near Porta Nuova or Porta Susa for easy movement around the city.
